Leadership

A leader is someone with the positive personal traits, organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills necessary to motivate others. A leader inspires confidence and trust in those around him/her.

The martial arts Leadership Training program teaches students to earn the respect and admiration of their peers through positive example. Available by invitation only, this program seeks out students who have demonstrated the self confidence and discipline necessary for long term success in the martial arts. Students selected for the martial arts Leadership Training program receive:

• Black Belt Training: Beyond the basics, students will develop proficiency with all programs taught at the school. They will assist in the instruction of other students and do so with confidence.
• Leadership Life Skills Curriculum: Martial Arts Leadership Training students develop the life skills, such as vision, persistence, confidence, motivation and communication, that inspire the confidence and trust of their peeers.
• State Championship Competitions: Martial Arts Leadership Training students accumulate points for their performance in regional tournaments. The best in forms, weapons, and sparing earn the designation of state champion. State champs get to announce the honor on their uniforms.
• Expert Weapons Training: Martial Arts Leadership Training students participate in advanced weapons training offered by Protech Training systems.
• Extreme Martial Arts ( XMA ): Student are invited to join the Extreme Martial Arts team. XMA combines martial arts techniques, with gymnastics, acrobatics and dance. The program explodes with energy and fun.
